PGDM(C) 2010- 2012 Admissions update - overseas students
MICA has received a very good response for admissions to PGDM (C) 2010-2012 from overseas candidates. With a view to facilitate their admissions to MICA, the entire admission process - MICAT, GE, PI - for such candidates will be done at one central location in the USA.
If we get higher response from students from any one country or region, we will try to do the same for the prospects there as well.

MICAT 2010-2012
- Latest Announcement
After due consideration of various
factors, it is now decided that MICAT
for admission to PGDM(C) 2010-2012
will be a paper based test at ALL
centers. Our earlier announcement
about Computer Based Test at Lucknow
and Bhopal stands cancelled.
Modified earlier announcement:
Candidates can now apply directly
for admission to PGDM (C) through
MICA Admission Test (MICAT)
MICAT will be held on 7th March
2010 at the following centres: Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi,
Mumbai, Lucknow and Kolkatta.
Process of application
For those who are applying now:
1. Fill in the MICA application
form online/offline, specifying
your center. Make a payment of Rs.1500/-
and submit the form to MICA on or
before 5th February 2010.
For those who have already applied:
1. In case you have applied online
and wish to change your center,
please do so on or before 5th February
2010..
2. In case you applied by buying
form from IMS/Career Launcher or
MICA and submitted it, and now wish
to avail of any of the new centers,
please send a mail to admissions@micamail.in
specifying your MICA application
form number and new center on or
before 5th February 2010..
After 5th February 2010, we will
send you the details of venue and
how to make payment of Rs.500/-
for MICAT, along with all test related
details. |

Eligibility
Admissions to the PGDM
(C) programme requires a Bachelor's degree
(in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 (4) system)
with minimum 50% marks or an equivalent
qualification in any discipline recognised
by the Association of Indian Universities.
Candidates appearing for the final examination
towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
are also eligible to apply.
Students with demonstrable aptitude for
expressing, assessing or conceiving ideas
that move people to action and achieve
business results, will stand better chances
of being shortlisted.
Selection
Procedure
The selection process for the PGDM
(C) involves three steps:

MICA
Admissions Test (MICAT)
As
per announcement above. The MICAT
is designed to assess analytical and
divergent thinking, written communication
skills and familarity with the Indian
ethos.
Note: The
Institute reserves the right to change
any MICAT Centre without assigning
any reason.

Group
Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview
(PI)
Candidates shortlisted on the basis
of MICAT will be invited for Group
Excercise and Personal Interview later
in March / April 2010.
